About
Photographer and filmmaker.
Campbell works across portraits, live performance, documentary, and brand storytelling, making images for and around the people and organisations that make things happen in the arts and beyond.
He has shot on concert stages, in rehearsal rooms, backstage and front-of-house, at outdoor festivals, and on location across Scotland and Europe, working with organisations including Scottish Ensemble, Govan Music Festival, Glasgow Cathedral Festival, and Pentatone. His photography has been published by Creative Scotland, and appears on Sean Shibe's Vesper (Pentatone, 2026).
He came to the camera through music, which still shapes how he sees: an instinct for timing, structure, and the details that only reveal themselves if you are paying attention.
He is currently developing his filmmaking practice alongside his photography, and is available for commissions across Scotland and further afield.
